Summary:A novel dual-band rectifier circuits at both 2.45 GHz and 5.8 GHz is proposed for wireless power transmission (WPT). The circuits consist of matching network, rectifier, and DC filter. The dual-band microstrip matching network is located between the antenna and the rectifier to realize the matching at two uncorrelated frequencies. A voltage-doubler rectifier is designed based on Schottky-diode. Fan-shaped and rectangular microstrip structure is used for DC filter, which can block spurious signals from rectifier. The circuit is fabricated on Rogers Duroid 5880 substrate with \mathcal{E} \text{r}=2.2 and a thickness of 0.787mm. The dual-band rectifier circuit demonstrates an RF-to-dc conversion efficiency of 81.6% at 2.45GHzand 57.2% at5.8 GHz across a 750Ω resistor for a 16 dBm input RF power.
