A method of QRS complex detection using multi-scale mathematical morphology

The present work is aiming to show the detection of QRS complex from the electrocardiographic signal, having the four stage multi-scale mathematical morphology (4M) as its main method. The model presented is evaluated by a file from the MIT/BIH database and compared with three stage multi-scale morp...

Summary:The present work is aiming to show the detection of QRS complex from the electrocardiographic signal, having the four stage multi-scale mathematical morphology (4M) as its main method. The model presented is evaluated by a file from the MIT/BIH database and compared with three stage multi-scale morphology (3M). The performance of both methods is shown by the ROC curve, ending the work with a discussion of the methods.
