Summary: | In this paper, the exhaust particle size distribution with different fuels was analyzed by MOUDI particle size analyzer on the single-cylinder diesel engine. The 0 # diesel and the mixture fuels which were formed by adding some oxygenated fuels into the 0 # diesel were used. The results showed that it was helpful to reduce the mass of small size particles by adding oxygenated fuels into diesel appropriately. At the rated power, the particles mass distribution of the DEB and DEL fuels was mainly concentrated on 1μm. The total particle mass of DEB fuel was lower than those of 0 # diesel and DEL fuel. The scanning electronic microscope analyzer results showed that the particle diameter of two oxygenated fuels was larger than those of 0 # diesel and the distribution were dispersed. The exhaust particles from 0 # diesel were arranged in a more compact structure. |
