Summary:The design of a full azimuth coverage localization system is elaborated. The present effort is focused on the interference direction of arrival estimation and its power level measurement. The developed system is based on the 8 inputs x 8 outputs Butler matrix driven by a cylindrical array. The 8 outputs of the Butler matrix are measured by a phase discriminator and the resulting signals are appropriated compared and processed by an electronic unit. The electronic unit yields the angle of arrival of the input signal along with power level of interferer.
