Summary:Synchronic-in-phase electric drive is widely used in thermal-imaging and laser scanning systems due to high accuracy characteristics in the wide range of angular speed regulation. The point of the article is to examine the application features of impulsive phase-frequency discriminator with extended functional abilities by implementation of different methods of electric drive control with phase synchronization and synchronic-in-phase electric drive. The classification of electric drive control methods with phase synchronization and synchronic-in-phase electric drive was suggested and the functional circuits were presented, by implementation of which, the additional functional abilities of impulsive phase-frequency discriminator are used: the indication of operating regimes and the time changes in operating regimes of impulsive phase-frequency discriminator.
