Summary: | A typical circuit breaker lightning fault of open-ring point in 220kV electromagnetic loop network is analyzed. The lightning intruding into the fracture of circuit breaker causes total internal reflection. And it's the main reason causing the damage of circuit breakers in recent years. Through the analysis, the installation of MOA, in the overhead line entrance of open-ring point in vulnerable area, is the most effective and safe method for prevention of circuit breaker damage events. |
