Summary: | An attractive candidate for a millimeter wave network analyzer is a six-port system because no down conversion to intermediate frequencies is required. Thus, problems associated with stringent requirements on mixers and multiple sources are avoided. Here we report on a diode based 94 GHz dual six-port network analyzer (DSPNA) for measuring two-port components. This system evolved from a single six-port reflectometer which has been previously described [1]. |
