Summary:This paper reports the fabrication of a readout integrated circuit for various environmental gas sensors in a TSMC 0.25 pm CMOS process. It has an area of 6.67 mm 2 and a power consumption of 17.5 mW at a supply voltage of 2.5 V. The proposed readout integrated circuit has four input channels and can operate in voltage, current, and resistance sensing modes. A voltage buffer and a current source are used to accommodate different types of signals. The output DC level and the operating temperature of the sensor are easily calibrated respectively by a voltage divider and a low dropout regulator with a temperature sensing function.
