Discrete-time stability analysis of grid-connected converters considering the PLL dynamics

The objective of this paper is to develop a discrete-time stability analysis of a three-phase grid-connected converter, considering not only the current and the DC-link voltage/power controllers, but also including the phase-locked loop (PLL) dynamics. This analysis is carried out in the synchronous...

Summary:The objective of this paper is to develop a discrete-time stability analysis of a three-phase grid-connected converter, considering not only the current and the DC-link voltage/power controllers, but also including the phase-locked loop (PLL) dynamics. This analysis is carried out in the synchronous dq reference frame. Some aspects of the closed-loop stability that involve nonlinear dynamics analysis and equilibrium points are presented in order to get a small-signal linearized model.
