The Combination of GPU and CPU Techniques to Fast Calculate High Frequency Scattered Fields from 3-D Realistic Scatterers

Summary: | This paper improves the traditional GRECO method in calculating the physical optics (PO) scattered field both for triangular and quadric facet. The shadowing approach uses color-index to mark the surface element and calculate facet-based integral, instead of pixel-based integral approximation. This hybrid method has the same calculation speed as the traditional GRECO but reduces the memory usage. We test the method in calculating the complex target glider. |
