Ultra-broadband and Low-loss 16 × 16 SiPh Switch

A 16×16 SiPh thermo-optic switch provides 100 nm of bandwidth, at most 8 dB in crosstalk, and 3.8 dB loss for the longest path. At 10 Gb/s, this energy-efficient switch consumes less than 7 pJ/bit.
