Summary:Resourcesat-2A is an imaging remote sensing satellite carrying three payloads namely Linear Self Scanning Sensor-4(LISS-4), Linear Self Scanning Sensor-3 (LISS-3) and Advanced Wide Field Sensor (AWiFS). LISS-4 is a high resolution multi-band camera. The Payload Electronics (PLE) and Baseband Data Handling System (BDH) handle multiple clocks and high bit rate data. BDH is accommodated on main platform and payload is mounted on a rotating deck which is assembled with payload platform. The electrical environment has an effect on the performance of LISS-4. The performance of the payload is assessed by Mean of digital number (DN) and Standard Deviation (SD). LISS-4 has been tested separately in autonomous mode test and with satellite systems in Integrated Spacecraft Test (IST). Increase in mean and SD was observed in IST. As a corrective action, grounding of PLE was improved and the signal lines were separated from power lines. This action improved the performance and specifications have been met. The results are presented in this paper.
