Phase plate tolerances in a tri-mode demultiplexer

The tolerance in a mode-demultiplexer to rotational, longitudinal offset and phase mismatch is demonstrated to be 25 degrees, 15% of the 1/e 2 radius of the LP 01 mode, and 45 degrees respectively for <;1dB SNR penalty.
