Enzyme-based nanocomposites: Using nature to ward off emerging threats
We report the development of novel antimicrobial nanocomposites incorporating enzymes. We also describe approaches to identify novel cell lytic enzymes that can target pathogens with high specificity under ambient environmental conditions.
