Summary:High data rate wireless access is a need of many applications. Usually, more bandwidth is required for higher data rate transmission. With promising technology and an increasing in the wireless devices, the spectrum is becoming scarcer day by day. In this case, using multicarrier transmission such as Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) which is spectrally more efficient transmission than any other method is prefred. The main drawback is Peak to average power ratio(PAPR). This paper presents Various PAPR Reduction techniques. These proposed techniques shows better performance for reduction in PAPR and out of these any one technique can be used according to performance.
