Summary:Returned radar signals and interference at low elevation angles may be subject to multipaths with both specular and diffuse reflections. For a multichannel phased array radar, space/time filtering techniques may be utilized to enhance the signal to interference ratio for improved target detection. This relies upon a combination of temporal decorrelation and spatial separation and exploits the presence of multipaths to both cancel the interference as well as reinforce the target signal.
