Summary:This paper presents a novel passivity-based control strategy of three-phase voltage source PWM rectifier under the condition of unbalanced supply voltage amplitude. Unbalanced voltage at the input of the rectifier could cause harmonics which can pollute the grid and ripples in the DC-link voltage. To deal with this problem, a passivity-based control strategy is proposed. The control strategy can achieve sinusoidal input current of the rectifier, near unity power factor and DC-link voltage ripples restrained. Simulation results show that the proposed control strategy is valid.
