Summary:A method for formulating and solving the inverse scattering problem is proposed. The method is based on the well-known algorithms for pulse signal processing, which are reflected by a plane layered structures. A key feature of the method is to combine the features and benefits of different ways of processing and interpretation of experimental data sets. Used software allowed not only to establish the possibility of solving the problems, but also to optimize the parameters setting process. The results can be used for nondestructive testing and in biomedical research.
