Summary:It had a spectrum analysis on noise of the domestic company's steam trap in high temperature and pressure by domain integral, then the noise fountainhead was founded that occurs on 1500-2500Hz frequency based on FW-H acoustic model of FLUENT aero-acoustics software. According to the characteristic of the frequency spectrum of the noise signal, mechanism with the high acoustic level and principle of throttle step-down, throttle injection muffler of steam trap was designed, and the spectrum analysis was implemented, the results show that numerical analysis match with the theoretical analysis. The vibration modal analysis for muffler was made by using software ANSYS, its natural frequency (170.84-207.76Hz) is much lower than noise peak value frequency (2000-4000Hz), and the silencer can't produce resonance in the noise peak. Modal shapes show that amplitude fluctuations was relatively steady and produce a small deformation of the muffler, the noise was not conducive to the surrounding, which provides the reliable basis for the noise elimination vibration damping and capability choiceness.
