Summary:Spatial objects' matching is the first step of incremental updating for spatial database, and also is the key step. In this paper a spatial objects' matching algorithm in order to find changed information is studied. Through the research of the uncertainty problem existing in spatial data, fuzzy theory is introduced to spatial objects' matching algorithm. The paper focuses on how to solve spatial objects' matching problem by using fuzzy methods. The algorithm uses area similarity's factors to confirm the fuzzy topological relationship matrix. And thus quantify the degree of membership matrix, finally to determine the relationship between fuzzy topological classifications. The algorithm uses frame index to optimize and simplify computational complexity, as well as improve the efficiency of the algorithm. In this paper, and matching indicators calculated based on the results of fuzzy topological relationship, further analysis of fuzzy topological relations between change detection and classification, to explore the change types of geographical entities of automatic inference method.
