Summary: | The flexible hinge has been proved to be more suitable for the clamping design than the spring. But, it still lacks in-depth research on how the flexible hinge affects the motor's output. In this paper, the laser interferometer is used to measure the real-time displacement of the slide, from which the speed and acceleration curves can be compared to research on this question. Ultimately, the maximum output speed of motors is respectively 570mm/s, 480mm/s, 360mm/s, and the maximum output force of 12N, 16N, 18N. The results show that the linear ultrasonic motors with larger transverse stiffness will get lower speed but larger force output, whose output will also be more stable. |
