Summary:Wisdom Manufacturing (WM) as a service-oriented and knowledge-based humans-computers-things collaborative manufacturing model, innovation is central to realize WM. In this paper, innovation models such as closed innovation, open innovation, embedded innovation are analyzed. Then the global innovation model for WM is proposed through the fusion of those innovation models. Finally TRIZ-based innovation method is suggested to implement product innovation on the basis of customers/users' needs. Hence the innovation of WM is global and personalized with the participation of customers/users, aiming to provide personalized products/services.
