Summary:In this paper, we present a portable 7-lead ECG monitoring system. The system consists of ECG acquisition device with analog filtering circuit, wireless transmission module and monitor software. In order to get high quality ECG signal, the analog front-end circuit need to amplify and filter the signal effectively, we designed the corresponding filter to eliminate the major interferences. The microprocessor MSP430F149 controls the analog-to-digital conversion and data transmission. The wireless transmission module uses Zigbee network and General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) network in different circumstances to achieve the aim of low cost and convenience. We believe that in the future ECG monitoring devices can make universal cardiac protection service possible.
