Summary:To analyze the compounds in a gas mixture is difficult because of the low selectivity of gas sensors. In this research, we propose a temperature modulated method which operates the sensing film with a low frequency triangular heater voltage. The proposed method was validated for classifying methanol, ethanol, and mixture of both, with different concentrations. The experiment results show that the proposed method can reach 97.7% accuracy with only two sensors, comparing to the 94.4% of traditional constant temperature method with six sensors.
