Summary:In order to avoid the serious accident in the temporary work zone and in the mobile maintenance process, the collision performance is studied to the absorption unite, making the safety control in the highway work zone where there is a lot of mobile maintenance vehicle. The installment has good absorption energy ability, thus protects the passenger to be not injured or to reduce the injury the degree. Through the numerical method, the analysis method is established to describe effectively the entire process which the material structure is destroyed. Based on the non-linear finite element software, ANSYS/LS-DYNA, dynamics has been analyzed in the collision, and with the simulation result, optimization work zone is given. The research results showed that energy absorber possess is high about hybrid structure. The impact energy is absorbed by the way of bending plastic deformation energy and the energy-absorbing process is over while the spring-back happens.
