Experimental investigation of Cherenkov microwave amplifiers with high-current relativistic beam

Radiation with output power up to 100 MW at wavelength 8 mm, at gain 44 dB and efficiency 11% was obtained in TWT with a relativistic electron beam. In a sectioned generator BWO-twistron, output power was 500 MW at wavelength 10 mm at efficiency 20%.
