Summary:The objective of this paper is to design a power management unit that generates different voltage levels from a constant input voltage. The purpose of this unit is to drive the peripherals operating at different voltage levels and are embedded in single application. The design of power management unit supports the power save mode operation, i.e. the unit supplies voltage only when there is a demand for the operation to be performed by the control unit or request from the peripheral.
