An inductively coupled power transfer system based power control for motor drives of rail transit vehicle

This paper presents a power control method based on inductively coupled power transfer (ICPT) system for the power supply of motor drive in the rail transit vehicle. The output voltage of ICPT is closed-loop controlled by phase-shift control method on the primary of the system. Contactless power sup...

Summary:This paper presents a power control method based on inductively coupled power transfer (ICPT) system for the power supply of motor drive in the rail transit vehicle. The output voltage of ICPT is closed-loop controlled by phase-shift control method on the primary of the system. Contactless power supply system output a stable voltage of DC-line to motor drive system during operation with different load. The motor is controlled with vector control method and the system simulations verify the described method.
