Performance Evaluation of Dynamic Fiber-Granular Routing Networks with Next-Generation Optical Paths

The introduction of next-generation paths and fiber-granular routing to dynamic optical networks is studied. Due to the severe deterioration of statistical multiplexing effect, the fiber utilization ratio decreases by 50+% from current levels.
