Summary:This paper presents the design of a rectangular loop microstrip patch antenna for GSM900/1800, UMTS2100 and LTE2300 mobile application bands. The antenna has -10dB impedance bandwidth from 690 to 3120 MHz. This low profile low-cost antenna has good radiation pattern. The maximum simulated gain of the proposed antenna is 8.3 dB obtained at 980 MHz.
