Performance comparison between circular and elliptical type micro-speakers for cellular phones

In this paper, an elliptical speaker is analyzed using electromagnetic, mechanical and acoustic analysis, and is compared with circular one. It also shows that the elliptical type has a size merit when it is mounted with a bigger window, compared to the circular type with equivalent performance.
