Summary:This paper briefly presents current status of sensors for detect, sense, and avoid operations of Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (SUAVs). Due to significantly increased demand of SUAVs, detect, sense, and avoid operations from any intruder become crucial for flight safety. To achieve the operations, operators need to choose suitable sensors for detecting and sensing any intruders and to design profit algorithms for avoidance process. In this paper, we briefly introduce various sensors and their properties for detect, sense, and avoid operations.
