Summary:This paper presents the development of a sensitive high frequency life detection technique which makes use of Blind Source Separation to detect the presence of various human subjects. The use of Blind Source Separation allows the detection of multiple subjects at the same time. The system has been extensively tested under simulated conditions and the results have been presented - this system will be extremely helpful in the development of a MIMO system for the detection of multiple human subjects buried under rubble.
