Summary: | Energy-saving emission reduction (ESER) is the key project of our society, and electricity energy saving is actually one of the most important parts to contribute ESER. The effect of electricity energy saving will have a bearing on the success or failure of ESER. Because the implementation process of ESER policy is now with quite short time period allowed and there will be a large amount of uncertainties within the implementation of the policy, these have imposed many challenges to achieve the ESER target. In this paper, a new method is proposed to analyze the relationship between the electricity intensity of key industries and the whole industrial electricity intensity to determine the critical industry of a certain region, which could integrate Grey Relational Theory, and implement in-depth relation analysis. Then the method is used to make the systematic analysis in East China region to check its feasibility for electricity energy saving. Finally, the critical industry for the electricity energy saving of East China region is determined and the analyzed result could provide a great help to the decision making about ESER of East China region. |
