Summary:Electronic fare management is currently discussed all over. A lot of different solutions are implemented in the past. In our work, an intelligent fare management system is proposed which is useful for the transport corporation. This system is built using face recognition based on Principal Component Analysis (PCA). Once the passenger entered inside the vehicle, the face of the passenger is captured, detected and send to the server. The current location of the vehicle is given by Global Positioning Sensor (GPS). Then the face is recognized in the server and the image of the face is verified with the image of the passenger which is already stored in the banking Database (DB). Then the fare will be calculated by using the distance of the entry and exit location of the user. The fare for the journey is debited from the account and intimation is sent to the passenger. The data stored in the banking database is one-time process. Whenever any customer opens an account in a bank, the facial image of the family members is stored in the database.
