Summary:This paper mainly focuses on the horizontal comparisons pertinent to the impacts on power flow when three different types of wind power generators, Squirrel Cage Induction Generator (SCIG), Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) and Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG), are integrated into the existing power grid respectively. In order to discuss the influence, the probabilistic load flow (PLF) considering wind power uncertainty is analyzed in this paper. Whilst to solve the PLF problem with higher precision and less computing time, the traditional Monte Carlo method is improved by using the quasi random sequence instead of simple samples, which is called Quasi Monte Carlo method. The simulations are based on IEEE 14-bus test system and some interesting and useful information can be obtained.
