Summary: | A wideband six-port network is introduced for phase measurement in Angle-of-Arrival (AoA) detection radar system. The presented design of wideband six-port network features a fully integrated device formed by three wideband coupler and a wideband power divider. The chosen substrate for the fully integrated wideband six-port network is RO4003 materials where the thickness (h) is 0.508 mm with permittivity of 3.38. The design is simulated and analyzed using CST Microwave Studio (CST) transient solver. The performance of the designed six-port network is assessed by studying the S-parameter characteristics at the frequency range of 3 GHz to 8 GHz. |
