Summary: | Wind and solar are considered as if the most beautiful form of non renewable source of energy for harvesting the electricity to meet the global energy demand. Off grid hybrid systems are more useful as compared to grid connected system for supplying the rural areas and grid isolated system. Both hybrid and conventional system can together increase the stability of the system and hence economical in terms of the devices and storing system. This paper will describe about the classification of hybrid system and their related technologies. The design of the hybrid system mainly depends upon the type of source, environment condition and the no. Of user to whom it gives supply. The power mismatching due to the solar cell also creates some problem for a standalone system but as far as the grid connected system is concerned it does not affect the stability of the system. Capacity of the hybrid system can be increased to a large extent by adding more and more numbers of batteries. A hommor based simulation is carried out to test the feasibility as well as the economic value of the system. |
