Summary:Transformation Optics theory and the development of metamaterials make the invisible cloaking possible. In this paper, modeling of cloaking structures is introduced firstly, then a dispersive finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method which based auxiliary differential equation (ADE) technique and Drude dispersive model is applied to modeling of cloaking structures. Last, lossless and lossy cloaking structures are simulated by dispersive FDTD, and the cloaking phenomenons are very clearly shown. Also, a thin cloaking structure is examined.
