Summary:According to the characteristics of the short-circuit current and its detection in a low-voltage distribution system, an improved variable dimension progression prediction method, which is based on grey power model, is proposed in this paper. The time response function of this model is optimized as well. Moreover, the algorithm is employed to predict the actual short circuit current on line. The simulation results indicate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
