Summary:Laboratory unit for ceramics sintering by electromagnetic energy of MM-wavelength range is developed. The unit incorporates: 0-type packetized oscillator providing output power up to 1500 W at 32.8 GHz; working chamber - multi-mode cavity matched with waveguide transmission line; oscillator power supply, pulse modulator for microwave power control; test and control equipment. Increasing in efficiency of electromagnetic wave heating of low-loss dielectrics is shown when frequency rises. The oscillator typical specifications are presented, as well as the results of the chamber cold measurements and the unit preliminary tests.
