Summary: | A new method of calculating the average voltages, currents, and power in the inductor-converter bridge circuit is developed. The calculation is based on two orthogonal periodic basis functions. The functions are defined in terms of step and ramp functions but are used in the calculations by sighting their trigonometric-like identities. The results are in closed form which were previously obtained in infinite Fourier series form. A typical calculation and some of the identities are shown. |
