Furnace temperature control with fuzzy microcontroller
A new generation of processor, the so-called fuzzy microprocessor, is used to control the temperature in a laboratory furnace. The system consists of the furnace and a control device with an NLX230 fuzzy microcontroller, an 80C522 microcontroller, a clock, RAM and EPROM memories and an LCD. The fuzz...

Summary: | A new generation of processor, the so-called fuzzy microprocessor, is used to control the temperature in a laboratory furnace. The system consists of the furnace and a control device with an NLX230 fuzzy microcontroller, an 80C522 microcontroller, a clock, RAM and EPROM memories and an LCD. The fuzzy microcontroller works as coprocessor. It is possible to introduce, in an easy way, the mode required for temperature changes during the heating process. In this paper, the design method of the system is described. |
