Summary:Leadership is one of the Hottest topic in the recent time. There are many definitions of leaderships and many styles of leadership have emerged over a period of time. All these have come about because of the need of the organizations or of the society or of the situations. However many styles have been successful at the required time. But for the present generation, based on the need of the people there is different style of leadership people are looking towards. They want the leaders to be supporting them instead of commanding them, they want the leaders to be facilitating them to do their job better instead commanding them to get their work done. Thus emerged a servant leadership which focuses on the serving the followers rather than getting served by them. the purpose of the study is to identify if there are any servant leadership qualities are present in the Indian organizations and if there is any significant difference among the private and public sector, etc. though there are many studies with respect to the leadership, the present study focusses on identifying the servant leadership styles with respect to their organizations, leaders and the employee satisfaction. For this purpose Organizational Leadership Scale developed by Laub is used.
