Summary:With a surge in innovation and inflation worldwide, particularly within the realm of telecommunication, it has become imperative to engineer more efficient and dependable MSP (microstrip patch) antennas that can cater to multifarious purposes. In this article, an investigation into the effect of deploying various substrates for identical design parameters in order to determine antenna performance is presented and also a study on the effects of implementing different substrates with identical design parameters to gauge their impact on antenna performance is shown. Optimal frequency bands that exhibit superior gain and appropriate VSWR is explored, while examining various applications of the antenna across multiple substrates such as FR4 epoxy, Bakelite and PVC plastic.
