Summary: | One of the most used time and frequency transfer techniques for the comparison of atomic clocks and time scales over long distances is the so-called Two-Way Satellite Time and Frequency Transfer (TWSTFT). Equipped with two ground stations, INRiM Time and Frequency Laboratory maintains TWSTFT links to compare its local realization of UTC and its atomic frequency standards with other timing laboratories, contributing to the calculation of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) and to timing aspects of the European Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Galileo. This paper presents the latest TWSTFT activities at INRiM over the last two years. |
