Summary:Assembly tolerance simulation and optimization is an important part of aircraft assembly process preparation, which directly affects the assembly quality, assembly cycle and production cost of aircraft. At present, the integration and application of assembly tolerance simulation and optimization technology is not mature enough in the process preparation stage of aircraft manufacturing enterprises, which leads a large number of tolerance problems, such as repair, assembly and rework. In order to solve those problems, tolerance simulation and optimization is introduced to the process of assembly process preparation. The tolerance simulation and optimization technology of aircraft assembly based on key control characteristics is studied. The traditional aircraft digital assembly process preparation process and the existing tolerance problems are analyzed. The concept of key control characteristics is put forward, and the aircraft assembly tolerance simulation and optimization method and based on key control characteristics is studied.
