Summary:This article develops a semi-closed free space batch measurement system for batch evaluation of the electromagnetic properties of complex material for production line application. The key components of the measurement system are multiple pairs of spot focusing lens antenna, a network analyzer, a conveyor belt, and a computer. Due to the far-field focusing ability of the lens antenna, materials operating at microwave frequency can be measured in free space in a relatively compact and simple measuring device [1]. Free-space techniques are also well suited for determining material properties at a wide frequency band [2]. The proposed measurement system can be used in batch testing of the production line. Based on the linear measurement of the spot focusing on the lens antennas, the accuracy is improved on the basis of maintaining the measurement speed.
