Summary:The Capacitive voltage transformers (CVT) have been widely applied to power systems, but due to their structure containing capacitors and nonlinear inductors, they cannot accurately measure harmonics. The article first analyzes the working principle and harmonic transmission characteristics (HTCs) of CVTs. Subsequently, it is possible to comprehensively consider factors such as CVT manufacturing parameters and stray capacitance, establish a CVT harmonic impedance model, and derive its complete transfer function. The simulation results of the model can be compared with the measured CVT harmonic test results, ultimately verifying the accuracy of the model.
