Summary:Ensuring healthcare data protection is becoming necessary, given the vast current attempts of data unauthorized manipulation via the Internet. Hence, this paper aims to present a comprehensive overview of Medical Image Watermarking using advanced Machine Learning approaches. Our work was carried out by analyzing 16 deeply selected articles from well-known digital libraries according to specified watermarking characteristics. Research results are presented and discussed, and recommendations are made for further exploration.
